The Requirement

The garden room supplier required a cost-effective foundation solution for a garden room in the rear garden of a property with limited access and trees in close proximity.

The Solution

• We installed QuadraPile helical piles as the foundations and fitted steel plates to the top of each pile to support the building supplier’s floor structure.
• The piling was completed in only a few hours despite the limited access of the site.
• A suspended floor was then constructed on to the piles by the building supplier.
• SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) walls could then be built straight on to the floor structure to give a weathertight shell in only a couple of days.
