Single and Two-Storey Modular Bathroom Pod Replacements, North London

The Problem

A housing association in North London required replacement of existing modular bathroom “pods” – both two-storey and single-storey.

Being the only bathroom in each property, the replacements needed to be carried out within a single day.

The Solution

We provided off-site manufactured bathroom pods, specifically designed to suit the properties. Internal fit-out including plumbing and electrical items was completed and tested in the factory.

The old bathroom modules were craned out and sent for disposal before the new modules were craned into position and connected to the services ready to be used – all within a single day.

The extensions were supported on helical screw piles thus eliminating concrete from the foundations and providing a stable, permanent foundation.
