The Challenge

A freestanding listed wall was in need of repair due to weathering and structural movement.

Temporary structural scaffolding had been erected to support the wall but a permanent solution was needed.

The Solution

We designed a solution incorporating masonry reinforcement within the wall along with steel columns, supported on our QuadraPile foundations, to provide stability.

Due to being listed, the fabric of the wall was left mostly as it was with only the required structural work being undertaken.
