The Challenge
Foundations were required for a new-build property in the garden of an existing terraced house.
The land-locked site (with the only access beign through the existing property) meant that access for traditional work was limited.
There was limited acccess for machinery so excavation was restricted and all materials and equipment had to be carried by hand.

The Solution
We provided QuadraPile helical screw piles to provide completely concrete-free foundations.
Our small installation kit meant that we were able to install in this restricted site.
We then added an arrangement of steel beams in order to support a beam and block floor.
The blockwork walls were then constructed on top of the floor.
All materials were carried and assembled by hand due to the limited access.
