The Challenge

The garden designers required foundations for a substantial steel and glass staircase structure which was to be clad in brick and stone.

A tight schedule for the garden installation meant that the piles needed to be installed quickly and be ready for the steel immediately.

Due to the site being at the RHS Chelsea flower show, everything had to be removed following the show.

The Solution

We installed our QuadraPile helical piles (aka screw piles) to which the steel structure was attached.

The pile installation and steelwork assembly was completed within a single day.

Following the show, the steelwork was unbolted and we returned to remove the piles in order for the site to be returned to lawn.

The foundations were provided without the use of any concrete.
