QuadraPile Pile-and-Beam foundations for an extension in clay soil near trees, Wiltshire

The Requirement

A site for a new extension had a number of complexities:

We installed QuadraPile foundations into trenches dug by the builder and then manufactured, supplied and installed reinforcing ‘cages’ into the trenches ready for the builder to pour the concrete beams and build the extension.
The foundations had to be designed to fit around the existing services on the site as well as meet the Building Inspector’s requirements, especially in relation to the nearby tree and clay soil.
